About Us

Inshes Church is a congregation of the Church of Scotland with pastoral responsibility for the community of its parish. It aims to preach the message of the Christian gospel so that individuals may come to faith, be encouraged and nurtured in that faith and find purpose and direction through God’s call upon their lives.

Preaching and teaching is Biblical and there are regular meetings for worship on Sunday mornings and evenings with mid week meeting for Bible study and prayer.

Sunday morning worship is partly all-age family worship and partly expository preaching; Sunday evening worship is directed towards the application of Biblical exposition, although a number of children attend.

We also work with primary school-age children through our Sunday Special program, and with teenagers through Sunday evening and weeknight meetings (“IT” and Friday Nite Live).

A mother-and-toddler group meets weekly and there are regular youth meetings open to all.

Special outreach and Christian education projects are run from time to time.

The Church offers the use of the buildings to all community groups involved in care and support work and this facility is much used.
